On why Iran = Peter Jantzen
(and other
Monster Matters) – Dan Holin

Monsters,
Thought to share with you some thoughts on this worthless rainy day before I go home.
On PJ/Shatsi/Jantzen: We all know that the only thing keeping the pin inside the human grenade otherwise known as "Peter Jantzen" is the fact that he goes out frequently and bikes really really hard. Peter currently has a little medical issue that requires that he not exercise for 8 weeks. Much like Iran and the nuclear threat it poses, we now must also step up as fellow Spinsters and CONTAIN PETER AT ALL COSTS. Power walks w/Peter are strongly recommended so please, and for our children's sake, go for a walk with Peter whenever possible. I will assume a Monday AM walk. Walk with Peter--we love him!
On Dan "the Body" Bowen: Dan Bowen is a middle aged suburban male trapped inside an 18 year old Russian gymnast's body. Not only that, he also is fine athlete with a perpetual smile and kind heart. A so called "running injury" causing him to be "really out of shape" are the current mental crutches that are keeping this fine Monster specimen from riding with us Spinsters for, like, FOREVER. I urge you to petition Dan--waterboard him if needed--to get himself back out with the Monsters ASAP and by this Spring at the latest!
On Peter "Euro" Fandel: Winner of the Monster MVP award for 2007, this eccentric yet powerful rider recently fell from grace by actually falling down the stairs in his own home and spraining his ankle! The only redeeming fact is that he did so on his way to his basement...So here is a shout out to our boy Fandel, wishing him a quick recovery (and long walk with Peter to build up strength).
On Jason "Ti Ride" Robart: Jason recently underwent an elective hip replacement surgery in order to begin a long but perhaps worthwhile procedure in which every joint in his body will be replaced with titanium parts. Kaemmer and I recently saw Jason riding his bike--albeit pedaling with his hands... But seriously: Jason is back on his bike after what must have been a painful surgery and recovery period. You go Jason!
Love,
Dan Holin
